I like taking pictures (which would be expected given that he is a member of a camera club!).  I have done so since around 1992, when I spent a bit more than a year in Guinea.  Photography was then a way to capture the scenery and its inhabitants.

I like landscapes, but I'm not very good at capturing their grandiosity. 
Because of that, I tend to concentrate on details, smaller "landscape", or scene with people in.  A thread behind my photography is the capture of subjects as they are, in particular the spontaneous nature of my subjects, without (or with as little as possible) post-treatment, digital trickery or even artificial poses.
